Phuket airport to Patong: taxi, transfer or bus? (2026 prices)

The drive from Phuket International Airport to Patong is 45–60 minutes. Your options:

• Airport bus: 100–150 THB, hourly, drops at a few points on the beach road
• Metered taxi from the rank: usually 600–800 THB plus a 100 THB airport fee, and you may queue
• Pre-booked private car: 900 THB flat, driver waits with a sign, flight tracked, no haggling
• VIP van for groups: 1,200 THB for up to 9 people

For two or more people the pre-booked car costs about the same as a taxi and removes the uncertainty after a long flight.
